What to expect from your first Hypnotherapy Session.
Firstly, I offer a Free Initial Phone Consultation where I gather information about you and the issue that you are wanting help with, and to answer any questions that you may have about hypnotherapy and sessions. This consultation will last 20 minutes.

If you decide to go ahead with the hypnotherapy, then the next step will be to book you in for a Full Consultation and session. Please allow one and half hours for your full consultation.
First of all, we will discuss the issue you want help with in full detail, to establish where you are now and what we need to achieve to go forward, and to answer any questions you may have. I will teach you Self hypnosis, which is a great technique and booster to use at home, in between sessions. I will then guide you into a general relaxation hypnotherapy session, which will ease any tension and stress.
Near the end of your consultation I will be able to advise you on the approximate amount of sessions that I think you will need to have.
Before your session I advise that any devices you may bring with you are turned off or put on silent so to stop any kind of distraction. It would also benefit you to wear, loose comfy clothing.

Fear is a normal part of every day life, it prevents you from coming to harm and getting hurt. When a fear starts to have a negative impact on your everyday life and prevents you from doing everyday things then it becomes a phobia. We are not born with phobias, our fears are picked up throughout life. If we can learn to have a phobia, we can also “un-learn” it. Using hypnotherapy we can reprogram the mind and change the meaning and association that we give to experiences.

Unfortunately anxiety can affect anyone, at any time and can slowly build up and before you know it, has completely take over your life. Sometimes the sufferer can pin point the trigger which set off their anxiety, for example: from bereavement, loss of job, or financial worries. But quite often, the cause of somebody's anxiety has come from an episode in their life, of which they have forgotten about, only for something to trigger it off.
Hypnotherapy can help find the root to someone's anxiety, whether it has been sitting there in the subconscious mind for a couple of years or way back in their childhood.
